Pamukkale day trip from Antalya offers a visit to a scenic UNESCO world heritage site of Pamukkale from Antalya. Famous with the name of "Cotton Castle" the Pamukkale have cascading snow-white terraced cliffs creating a magical yet mysterious environment. The full-day excursion began early morning when your tour guide comes to pick you up from your hotel. Pick up time depends on the hotel location and you will get the exact time one day before the trip. The journey from Antalya to Pamukkale began in our luxury transport. It will take around 3.5 hours to reach the Pamukkale from Antalya.
Once you reach there the first thing you will see is the calcite-laden waters that flow downs from a 200-meter high cliff. Petrified waterfalls overlooking the plain presents the marvels of nature. The travertine terraces almost looks like frozen waterfalls or snowy cliffs from a distance but actually, these are the mineral deposits.
Walking through the series of terraced basins created by these waters the tour guide will explain the geology of this place. The tour guide will now take the group to visit the large necropolis which is filled with sarcophagi. The walking tour continues until the group reaches the Roman theater that has the seating capacity for 12,000. people.
